FORWARD Campaign
Landmark Community Church—formerly, First Baptist Church of Argyle—is a congregation seeking to be in-step with God’s plan and will for the Gospel being preached in all the Earth. Like many churches in America with a long history, FBC Argyle was in need of revitalization, a fresh vision for the future, and a renewed focus on the Gospel and the Great Commission. Rather than remaining stagnant, the congregation took a bold step of faith in 2025, charting a course for the next 25 years of ministry to the communities of Argyle, Northlake, Denton, Ponder, and beyond.
In charting the way FORWARD, FBC Argyle sold its facility on 377, in Argyle, and purchased an almost 14-acre tract of land in the heart of the next area of development in Denton County, repositioning itself as a church on-mission, with a clear focus on reaching the lost with the Gospel, making disciples of believers, and serving the community with the love of Christ. A key part of moving FORWARD, in faith and in step with God, was embracing a new identity, thus the change in name to Landmark Community Church.

A part of the FORWARD campaign focuses on developing the land God has entrusted to Landmark Community Church, including the construction of buildings for Kingdom impact and, in the near future, sports fields to be used to reach the next generation and their families.
